The rest of August will be pretty interesting. This weekend we go to Caltopia, the largest college lifestyle event on any college campus in the U.S.. It's always good to interact directly with students to see what's going on in their world. It's such a wonderfully positive time.
While on campus, I'll be at a attending a Board meeting of the Alumni Assoc. of the College of Natural Resources. There seems to be a communication gap between the college, the alumni and the students - which is not unlike most institutions of any kind these days. I'm continually amazed at how much more communication is produced in the 21st Century and how it is continually less and less useful.
Then I'm off to Dongguan, China. A 10 day trip to meet factory people, a new GreenSmart person in China and a hopefully something on the side. My first visit to this area. I'm looking forward to the travel and the meetings. All working on 2012.
